Overview

The StarTech SU2DUPERA11 is a standalone drive duplicator and eraser designed for IT operations, data sanitization workflows, and forensic environments. It enables direct cloning and wiping of storage devices without requiring a host system, reducing dependency on software-based tools and improving process consistency.

The unit supports both 2.5" and 3.5" SATA HDDs/SSDs as well as USB flash storage, allowing cross-interface duplication between SATA and USB media. It provides multiple duplication modes including sector-by-sector imaging and partition-based copying, with throughput up to 18 GB/min depending on interface and mode.

Deployment is desk-based for lab, staging, or data center support environments where rapid cloning or secure erasure is required. It is suited for disk provisioning, asset recycling, and compliance-driven data wiping. Not suitable for network-based duplication, RAID environments, or NVMe/M.2 native workflows without adapters.
