Overview
The ASUS VA259HGA is a 24.5-inch Full HD monitor designed for office productivity, everyday computing, and casual gaming. Its IPS panel delivers a native resolution of 1920 × 1080, a typical brightness of 300 cd/m², and 178° horizontal and vertical viewing angles. The anti-glare surface helps minimize distracting reflections in indoor work environments.
With a maximum refresh rate of 120 Hz and a 1 ms MPRT response-time specification, the VA259HGA offers smoother motion than standard 60 Hz displays. Adaptive-Sync helps reduce screen tearing when used with compatible graphics hardware. ASUS GamePlus and Motion Sync features provide additional options for supported gaming workloads.
Connectivity includes HDMI 1.4 and VGA, plus audio input and headphone output. Integrated stereo speakers provide 2 W per channel. ASUS Eye Care features include Flicker-Free and Low Blue Light technologies, while the stand supports tilt adjustment. VESA 100 × 100 mm mounting provides an alternative for compatible monitor arms or wall mounts.
The VA259HGA is suitable for general desktop use and entry-level gaming setups. It does not provide a height-adjustable stand or USB hub, and its Full HD resolution is less suited to users who need a larger high-resolution workspace.

Product Note
The 120 Hz maximum refresh rate applies to compatible digital input configurations; ASUS lists the VGA input's vertical frequency range up to 75 Hz. The 1 ms MPRT figure is a motion-response specification, not the same as a gray-to-gray response-time measurement. The stand supports tilt only, so users who need height adjustment, swivel, or pivot should consider a compatible VESA stand or a different monitor model. Confirm regional availability, included cables, and warranty terms with the supplier before ordering.
