Overview :

The HP AJ822B is a 24‑port 8 Gb Fibre Channel SAN switch designed for use with the HP BladeSystem c‑Class environment. It supports both internal backplane connections and external SFP ports so that blade servers and storage modules share the switch, solving SAN consolidation and cabling density challenges. With 16 internal 8 Gb FC ports plus 8 external auto‑sensing 2/4/8 Gb ports it delivers up to 384 Gb/s aggregate bandwidth in full‑duplex mode. It fits in the blade chassis, making it suitable for data center or edge blade deployments where integration with the chassis’ power and cooling is required. The module integrates with HP/Brocade management tools and supports standard SAN switch features such as NPIV, ISL trunking and Adaptive Networking services for SAN traffic control.
