Overview
The Eaton N816-03M, from the Tripp Lite by Eaton connectivity portfolio, is a 10Gb duplex multimode 50/125 OM3 LSZH fiber patch cable with SC duplex male-to-LC duplex male connectors. It has a 3 m (10 ft) length and an aqua jacket for multimode fiber identification.
The laser-optimized multimode fiber (LOMMF) is designed for 10Gb Ethernet applications, with a maximum specified 10Gb transmission distance of 300 m at 850 nm. It is also backward compatible with existing 50/125 µm multimode fiber and can be used with VCSEL and LED laser light sources.
The N816-03M is suited to LAN, SAN, data-center, server-room, and high-speed fiber interconnect deployments. Its LSZH aqua jacket and OFNR rating support appropriate structured-fiber installations where these cable requirements apply.
