The Eaton Tripp Lite Series N820-20M-OM4 is a 20-meter (65.6-foot) pre-terminated OM4 laser-optimized multimode fiber optic patch cable, engineered for IT professionals, data center administrators, and enterprise network engineers. It solves extended-reach high-bandwidth transmission challenges between distant server racks, main distribution frames (MDFs), and intermediate distribution frames (IDFs) by delivering reliable, low-loss data and voice signals across longer runs on the data center floor.
It supports high-speed 10Gb, 40Gb, 100Gb, and 400Gb Ethernet applications, reaching up to 300 meters at an 850nm wavelength when paired with cost-effective VCSEL or LED laser sources. Built with a low-smoke zero-halogen (LSZH) aqua jacket, it limits toxic smoke emissions in poorly ventilated areas and prevents misidentification in dense cabling arrays.
Optimized for deployment in enterprise data centers, large server rooms, SAN networks, LAN backbones, and telecommunication central offices.
