The Eaton N786-MDC-SFPSFP is a high-performance fiber optic mode converter designed for extending and converting high-speed optical links in enterprise data centers, carrier networks, and high-density switching environments. It enables flexible interoperability between SFP and SFP+ transceivers while supporting long-distance fiber transport across multimode and singlemode infrastructures.

It supports SFP/SFP+ modules and allows hot-swappable transceivers for minimal service disruption during maintenance windows.
