The APC SMX120BP is an external battery pack engineered to extend the runtime of compatible APC Smart‑UPS X‑Series uninterruptible power supplies (UPS). Its design allows installation adjacent to or beneath a UPS in rack or tower orientation.

This unit contains sealed, maintenance‑free lead‑acid batteries arranged to deliver 120V DC at 1200 VAh, providing a large reservoir of stored energy that increases UPS runtime when utility power is lost.
