Ubiquiti UACC-AI-Theta-Audio-Cable-Ext-10M – 10m AI Theta Audio Extension Cable
Overview
The Ubiquiti UACC-AI-Theta-Audio-Cable-Ext-10M is a 10-meter audio extension cable designed for the UniFi AI Theta surveillance system. It extends the audio connectivity between AI Theta Lenses and the AI Theta Hub, allowing installers to position camera lenses at greater distances from the central hub unit .
This cable is a system-specific accessory, not a generic audio cable. It uses Theta proprietary connectors on both ends and is intended exclusively for AI Theta components. The 10-meter length provides deployment flexibility in large rooms, high-ceiling environments, and commercial spaces where the standard cable length is insufficient .
Connectors and Construction
The cable terminates in Theta proprietary connectors, which are specific to the AI Theta ecosystem and not interchangeable with standard audio or video connectors . The jacket uses a woven fabric construction with a PVC enclosure, providing durability for both indoor and outdoor deployment scenarios . The jacket diameter is 5.2 mm, and the cable is white in color .
The cable weighs approximately 420 g (14.8 oz), reflecting the heavier gauge construction required for reliable audio signal transmission over the 10-meter span [citation:7][citation:19].
Compatibility
This cable is compatible exclusively with Ubiquiti AI Theta system components. It connects to AI Theta Lenses and the AI Theta Hub using the Theta proprietary interface . It is not compatible with other Ubiquiti camera systems, standard audio equipment, or third-party surveillance products.
The AI Theta system is part of the UniFi Protect platform, and this cable integrates directly into existing AI Theta deployments managed through UniFi Protect .
Key Features
- 10-meter (33 ft) length for extended audio signal reach
- Theta proprietary connectors for direct AI Theta system integration
- Woven fabric jacket with PVC enclosure for indoor and outdoor durability
- 5.2 mm jacket diameter for flexible routing in tight spaces
- White color to match AI Theta hardware aesthetics
Applications
The UACC-AI-Theta-Audio-Cable-Ext-10M is used when AI Theta Lenses must be positioned beyond the reach of the standard included cable. Typical deployments include large retail floors, open office environments, conference rooms, and commercial spaces with high ceilings where the hub and lens are separated by significant distances .
The cable supports audio monitoring and recording as part of a complete AI Theta surveillance installation. It is suitable for enterprise security setups requiring flexible camera and sensor placement without compromising audio signal integrity .
DC Supplies Product Note
This cable uses Theta proprietary connectors and will not connect to standard audio equipment or other Ubiquiti camera lines. Verify that your deployment uses the AI Theta system and that the 10-meter length is appropriate for your routing path. Excess cable length should be managed carefully to avoid signal degradation or physical damage . A 1-meter version (UACC-AI-Theta-Audio-Cable) is also available for shorter runs .

FAQs
Is this cable compatible with non-AI Theta Ubiquiti cameras?
No. The UACC-AI-Theta-Audio-Cable-Ext-10M uses Theta proprietary connectors and is designed exclusively for the AI Theta system. It will not connect to other Ubiquiti camera lines or standard audio equipment.
What is the difference between this cable and the standard AI Theta audio cable?
This is a 10-meter extension cable. The standard AI Theta Audio Cable is 1 meter in length. Both use the same Theta proprietary connectors, but the extension cable provides additional reach for larger installations .
Can this cable be used outdoors?
The cable has a woven fabric jacket with PVC enclosure and is rated for outdoor deployment. However, proper routing and protection from direct sunlight and moisture pooling is recommended for long-term reliability .
Does this cable carry both audio and video signals?
No. This is an audio extension cable specifically. Video connectivity for AI Theta Lenses uses a separate video cable (UACC-AI-Theta-Video-Cable) .
