Overview
The Tripp Lite P311-010 is a 10-foot 3.5mm mini stereo audio extension cable for extending connections between compatible audio devices, speakers, and audio-only headphones. It uses a 3-pole stereo connection with a male plug on one end and a female jack on the other.
Audio Connection
The cable provides a 3.5mm male-to-female extension connection for stereo audio signals. It is a passive cable and does not require external power or an active conversion circuit.
Shielding and Construction
The P311-010 features braided shielding to help reduce unwanted EMI and RFI interference. Both ends are fully molded, and the connectors use nickel plating.
Headset Compatibility
The P311-010 is a 3-pole stereo audio extension cable intended for speakers and headphones that provide audio only. It is not designed for headsets requiring separate speaker and microphone functionality; those applications require a compatible 4-pole extension cable.
Key Features
- 3.5mm male-to-female stereo audio extension
- 10-foot (3.05-meter) cable length
- 3-pole mini stereo connection
- Braided shielding with fully molded ends
- Nickel-plated connectors
Applications
The P311-010 can extend stereo audio connections between PCs, other stereo audio devices, speakers, and compatible audio-only headphones where additional cable length is required.
