Eaton P500-006 VGA High-Resolution Monitor Extension Cable

Overview

The Eaton P500-006 is a Tripp Lite by Eaton VGA/SVGA high-resolution monitor extension cable designed to extend an existing VGA monitor connection by up to 6 ft. (1.83 m). It uses HD15 male-to-female molded connectors and is intended for monitors and computers equipped with compatible VGA connections.

The cable uses mini-coaxial RGB and paired video wire construction for high-resolution analog video transmission. It supports resolutions up to 2048 × 1536, including 1080p, and uses foil and braid shielding to help protect the video signal from EMI/RFI interference.

Both connectors are molded and incorporate integral strain relief. The connectors and copper contacts are gold plated to provide reliable electrical conductivity. The cable is designed specifically as an extension cable, rather than a standard HD15 male-to-male monitor cable.
