Logitech 950-000005 MeetUp Mic Extension Cable (32.8')

The Logitech 950-000005 is a specialized audio extension cable designed to increase the operational range of the Logitech Expansion Mic for MeetUp. In conference rooms and collaboration spaces where the standard microphone cable is insufficient, this product provides an additional 10 meters of length, allowing for optimal mic placement in larger or unconventionally arranged rooms. It directly addresses the challenge of achieving clear audio pickup without being constrained by the location of the main MeetUp conference camera. This 10-meter cable ensures that audio signal integrity is maintained over the extended distance, preserving the voice clarity essential for professional communication. A key technical feature is the included cable clip, a simple but critical component that secures the connection point between the extension and the microphone cable. This prevents accidental disconnections that can disrupt meetings, a crucial reliability factor in any business environment. The cable is also designed to be conduit-friendly, simplifying clean and permanent installations. Engineered for seamless integration, the cable is intended for use in enterprise IT environments utilizing Logitech's MeetUp conferencing solutions. Its deployment allows AV installers and IT teams to route cabling discreetly through ceilings, floors, or conduit, resulting in a professional, clutter-free meeting space. By extending the microphone's reach to a total of 16 meters, it provides immense flexibility in room design and furniture layout, ensuring the microphone can be placed nearest to the participants.
