The Eaton B126‑002 is a wired HDMI signal extender and splitter transmitter designed to distribute a single HDMI audio/video source to two remote locations over twisted‑pair cabling. It is deployed by AV engineers and IT infrastructure teams in digital signage, trading rooms, conference halls, retail displays, and other environments where long‑distance HDMI connectivity is required beyond typical cable reach.

This box‑style unit receives a single HDMI input and outputs two RJ45 outputs that carry video and audio over Cat5e/6 cable to compatible remote receivers (such as Eaton/Tripp Lite B126‑1A0/B126‑1P0). Depending on the receiver type and cabling quality, it supports extended distances for HD signals up to 200 ft (61 m).

The B126‑002 transmitter is suitable for installation adjacent to source devices like media players, AV controllers, and set‑top boxes in racks or AV racks and bridges to distributed displays. It is especially useful where multiple screens must show the same content without needing multiple source outputs.

Integration requires HDMI input connection to the source and Cat5e/6 twisted‑pair links to remote receivers. The unit includes mounting hardware for wall, rack, or pole installation and utilizes an external 5 V DC power supply.

In a practical deployment, use B126‑002 to extend an HD video feed from a central media server to two conference room displays over structured Cat6, eliminating long HDMI cable runs. It should not be specified where only local display connections are needed or where video resolutions above 1080p60/HDCP content over extended cable runs are required.
