The Eaton B126-1A0-U is a receiver unit for an HDMI over Cat5/Cat6 extension system, designed to work with compatible Tripp Lite transmitters (e.g., B126-002) to extend HDMI audio/video to a remote display. AV and IT infrastructure engineers use it in digital signage, classrooms, retail displays, and meeting spaces where the video source must be located farther than conventional HDMI reach allows.

It receives differential HDMI signals over single Cat5e/6 twisted-pair cable from a compatible transmitter and outputs to a local HDMI display with a built-in HDMI pigtail. The unit is USB powered via the included Micro-B to USB-A power cable and requires no external power adapter or software.

This receiver fits small AV racks, under-desk mounts, or display mounts where a simple, low-profile HDMI extension endpoint is needed. It integrates into structured cabling environments using standard Cat5e/6 infrastructure and retains HDCP and stereo audio.
