Overview :

The StarTech 4K70IC-EXTEND-HDMI is a point-to-point HDMI extender designed to transmit high-resolution video signals over standard Cat5e/Cat6 cabling. It is used in AV distribution, control rooms, digital signage, and enterprise environments where HDMI sources need to be extended beyond standard cable limits.

This extender supports up to 4K resolution at 60Hz with HDR and 4:4:4 chroma, ensuring high-quality video output with no noticeable latency. It enables signal extension up to 70 meters over structured cabling, eliminating the need for long HDMI runs while maintaining signal integrity.

Designed for flexible deployment, the kit includes a transmitter and receiver with support for IR control pass-through and optical audio output. It integrates easily into AV racks, wall-mounted setups, and distributed video environments.

It is not suitable for routed network environments or switching through LAN infrastructure, as it requires a direct point-to-point cable connection between transmitter and receiver.
