Overview

The Eaton 9PXEBM240RT is a 3U rack/tower-install external battery module designed to extend runtime for select Eaton 9PX 8 kVA to 11 kVA UPS systems. It offers a robust, sealed-lead-acid battery configuration with heavy-gauge cabling and high-current DC connectors to integrate seamlessly into high-availability rack environments. Engineers deploy this module when the existing internal batteries of a 9PX UPS cannot meet runtime targets for servers, storage arrays or edge-data-centre loads. With the ability to daisy-chain up to five modules (and up to 12 with the optional SC240RT super-charger) the 9PXEBM240RT enables scalable runtime without increasing UPS footprint. The unit ships with a 4-post rail kit for 19-inch rack mounting (or tower pedestals) and is optimised for data-centre, telecom or critical IT-infrastructure racks where space is at a premium and downtime is unacceptable.
