The module connects directly to the UPS battery interface, allowing systems to sustain operation longer during utility failures or generator transfer delays.

This unit provides a 72V DC battery system using sealed lead-acid (VRLA) batteries. It is engineered for compatibility with Eaton 9PX2000 and 9PX3000 series UPS models, enabling scalable runtime expansion. The module supports daisy-chaining of multiple EBMs—up to four units—allowing incremental increases in runtime depending on load requirements and deployment constraints.

The 9PXEBM72RT is built in a 2U rack/tower convertible form factor and is designed for installation in standard 19-inch racks. It is typically deployed in data centers, enterprise server rooms, and network closets where extended runtime is required for controlled shutdown procedures or continued operation during prolonged outages.
