The Eaton 9PXEBM72RT-L is an external battery module designed to extend runtime for Eaton 9PX series UPS systems. In practical deployment, one 9PXEBM72RT-L module can extend UPS runtime for multiple 1U/2U servers and networking devices, providing minutes to hours of backup depending on load. Multiple modules can be added in parallel to further extend runtime for high-availability applications.
This battery module is not suitable for non-9PX UPS models, deployments exceeding the manufacturer's maximum supported battery string, or environments where rack space is limited to less than 2U.
