The Eaton Tripp Lite Series BP72VRM2U is a high-capacity 72V DC external battery pack engineered to extend runtime for compatible Eaton and Tripp Lite uninterruptible power supply (UPS) systems. Designed for enterprise data centers, server rooms, network closets, and edge infrastructure, it provides scalable extended backup power to ensure mission-critical IT equipment remains operational during prolonged electrical outages.

Featuring heavy-duty internal sealed lead-acid (SLA) AGM batteries, the Eaton Tripp Lite BP72VRM2U connects directly to the host UPS using an integrated heavy-gauge DC cable equipped with a polarized high-current connector. Multiple BP72VRM2U battery packs can be daisy-chained in parallel to dynamically increase runtime autonomy based on specific system load demands across Tripp Lite rack deployments.

Deployable in standard 19-inch 4-post racks, 2-post relay racks, or tower configurations using included mounting hardware. Built with a 2U heavy-duty steel chassis housing user-replaceable, hot-swappable internal battery modules to simplify maintenance without interrupting utility power to connected hardware. Do NOT connect to UPS models operating at DC voltages other than 72V DC or mix battery chemistries.
