Overview

The Eaton 93PXEBM240 is a 3U extended battery module (EBM) designed for use with Eaton 93PX three-phase UPS systems. It provides additional external battery capacity to increase runtime for critical IT loads in data centers, edge facilities, and enterprise power infrastructure.

It is used as a plug-and-play runtime expansion unit, connecting directly to compatible 93PX UPS systems through dedicated high-current battery connectors. This EBM does not increase UPS power rating, only backup runtime. It is typically deployed in environments where longer ride-through time is required for generator start-up, graceful shutdown, or extended outage protection.
