The HPE R0X45A is a high-capacity line card designed for the HPE/Aruba CX 6400 modular chassis family, intended for network engineers who require high-speed uplink or spine-level bandwidth. If you’re operating in a campus core, aggregation layer or compact data-centre rack and need to push fiber links of 40 Gb or 100 Gb to adjacent switches or network fabrics, this module plugs into the chassis to provide 12× QSFP28 ports capable of 40/100 Gb each. It fits inside the CX 6400 chassis (for example the 6405 or 6410 chassis) and benefits from the overall chassis management, high availability, cooling & power infrastructure. The module is ideal in environments where you need more than standard uplinks—this gives you dedicated high-speed ports in one module slot for backhaul, spine interconnect or dense uplink aggregation.
