Overview

The HPE J9534A is an access-layer expansion module designed for use in the HPE/Aruba E5400 zl or E8200 zl chassis systems when you need a dense block of copper Gigabit ports with PoE+ support. If you're running a wiring-closet deployment where you need to power a large number of IP endpoints×VoIP phones, wireless access points, surveillance cameras×this module gives you 24 × 10/100/1000 Mb RJ-45 ports with PoE+ in the same chassis environment you already use for aggregation. It fits into the "v2 zl" slot architecture and allows you to keep consistent management, stacking, and system features across the chassis line. It is best suited for campus or branch access racks where endpoints are copper-connected, require power, and the uplinks/backbone are handled by the chassis itself.
