Overview

The HPE J9547A is an access-layer module designed for use in the HPE/Aruba E5400 zl or E8200 zl chassis switches when you need a high-density port block with PoE+ support. If you're managing a branch wiring-closet or campus access rack and need to power a large number of IP endpoints×phones, wireless access points, cameras×this module plugs into the chassis to add 24 × 10/100 Mb RJ-45 PoE+ ports quickly and cleanly. It fits into the modular chassis, leveraging the existing management, power and stacking architecture, so you avoid adding a standalone switch and keep consistent infrastructure.It's suited for access deployments where gigabit speed is not required on every port but PoE+ is needed×such as when most endpoints are 10/100 devices (VoIP handsets, APs with sufficient uplink capacity upstream). The module uses the "v2 zl" architecture of the E-series chassis platform and requires compatible chassis firmware and slots.
