Overview

NETGEAR UTM9SDSLA-10000S is an optional VDSL/ADSL2+ modem module for the ProSecure UTM9S Unified Threat Management firewall. NETGEAR identifies it specifically as the VDSL/ADSL2+ Module (Annex A).

The module provides a dedicated DSL WAN interface and supports Annex A/Annex M, VDSL2, and ADSL/ADSL2+ connectivity. It also supports ATM functions including AAL5, RFC 1483, and ATM traffic management.

It is intended for UTM9S deployments where direct DSL connectivity is required. It is not a standalone firewall or router and should only be installed in a compatible UTM9S appliance. The Annex A version should not be selected where the required DSL service uses Annex B.

NETGEAR's current enterprise EOL documentation lists UTM9SDSLA-10000S with a last-sale date of November 29, 2013, so this is a legacy/EOL accessory rather than a current-generation NETGEAR product.
