Overview

The QNAP QXP-32G2FC is a dual-port 32Gb Fibre Channel (FC) host bus adapter (HBA) designed for integrating QNAP NAS systems into existing Fibre Channel SAN environments.

It connects via a PCIe 3.0 x8 interface and provides two 32Gb SFP+ Fibre Channel ports, enabling high-speed SAN connectivity for enterprise storage, virtualization, backup, and data center integration workloads.

The card supports 32Gb, 16Gb, and 8Gb Fibre Channel speeds, allowing backward compatibility with existing SAN infrastructure while enabling modern high-throughput deployments.

It is designed to turn compatible QNAP NAS systems into Fibre Channel targets, allowing them to participate in SAN environments alongside traditional enterprise storage arrays. This enables centralized storage pooling, high-performance LUN access, and backup consolidation.

Deployment is strictly limited to supported QNAP NAS models running QTS or QuTS hero with PCIe expansion support. It is not compatible with Windows/Linux systems as a general-purpose FC adapter.
