Overview :

The QNAP QXP-16G2FC is a dual-port 16Gb Fibre Channel PCIe expansion card designed to integrate compatible QNAP NAS systems into Fibre Channel SAN environments.

It provides two 16Gb FC ports using SFP+ transceivers and operates over a PCIe 3.0 x8 interface, enabling high-speed block-level storage connectivity for enterprise SAN deployments.

This card is used in data center environments where QNAP NAS systems act as Fibre Channel targets for storage consolidation, backup, and high-performance SAN workloads.

It is intended strictly for QNAP NAS platforms running supported QTS or QuTS hero versions and is not compatible with Windows, Linux, or non-QNAP systems.

It is suitable for enterprise SAN integration, but not for standard Ethernet networking or general-purpose NIC usage.
