Eaton Tripp Lite SRCLOSETFAN Network Closet Exhaust Fan 475 CFM

Detailed Specifications

The Tripp Lite by Eaton SRCLOSETFAN is a specialized network closet exhaust fan engineered to actively manage thermal conditions within small, enclosed IT environments. Designed to increase airflow and circulate fresh air, this unit effectively mitigates heat buildup, a common challenge in compact wiring closets and server rooms where space constraints limit traditional cooling options. By preventing critical equipment from overheating, the SRCLOSETFAN helps maintain optimal operating temperatures, directly enhancing system performance and significantly reducing the risk of costly downtime due to thermal-related failures. This exhaust fan features dual high-performance 120V ball-bearing fans that deliver a robust airflow of 475 cubic feet per minute (CFM), ensuring consistent and powerful air circulation. It includes a replaceable filter, crucial for preventing dust and debris from entering and accumulating on sensitive electronic components, thereby extending equipment lifespan and reducing maintenance requirements. The fan unit is designed for simple, flexible installation, complete with a mounting template and hardware, facilitating placement between wall studs up to eight inches thick. Ideal for small data closets or telecommunication rooms, the SRCLOSETFAN integrates seamlessly into existing infrastructure. Its compact design and wall-mount capability maximize usable space, making it a pragmatic choice where traditional rack-mounted cooling might not be feasible. With a 15-foot power cord and a NEMA 5-15P input plug, the unit offers considerable flexibility in connecting to standard North American AC power outlets, even in rooms with high ceilings. A convenient on/off switch provides simple one-touch control for easy operation.
