Detailed Specifications
Netgear GS308EPP-100NAS 8-Port Gigabit PoE+ Plus Switch
Overview
The Netgear GS308EPP-100NAS is a high-density Power over Ethernet (PoE) solution designed for small-to-medium businesses (SMBs) and edge network deployments. As part of the Netgear Plus series, this 8-port Gigabit Ethernet switch provides a significant 123W total PoE budget, supporting IEEE 802.3at (PoE+) across all ports. This makes it an ideal choice for powering high-draw devices such as WiFi 6 access points, pan-tilt-zoom (PTZ) IP cameras, and VoIP handsets without requiring localized power sources.
Engineered for environments where silent operation is critical, the GS308EPP features a fanless design, allowing for deployment in open-plan offices, retail spaces, or healthcare facilities. Beyond simple connectivity, the switch offers essential Layer 2 management capabilities. Administrators can leverage a web-based GUI to configure VLANs for traffic segmentation, prioritize voice and video data via Quality of Service (QoS), and monitor network health through port mirroring and cable diagnostics. The GS308EPP-100NAS bridges the gap between unmanaged plug-and-play hardware and complex enterprise-managed infrastructure, delivering professional-grade power delivery and traffic control in a compact, durable metal housing.Key Features
