Features

Built on Aruba’s advanced 3810M platform, the JL072A supports MACsec encryption across all access ports, safeguarding data from Layer 2 threats  The modular flex-port uplink slot allows seamless integration of 1/10 GbE or 40 GbE connections for backbone, server, or data center uplinks . With a dedicated stacking slot and optional stacking module, multiple switches can form a VSF stack—sharing configuration and management across a single logical chassis .

Advanced Options

This switch supports advanced L2 and L3 features—OSPF, BGP, static routing, VLANs, QoS, ACLs, IPv6—without additional license fees . Programmability and SDN readiness are provided via REST APIs and OpenFlow, while Aruba Central, AirWave, and ClearPass ensure centralized management and secure policy enforcement
