Eaton NPOE-EXT-1G30 Tripp Lite 1-Port Gigabit PoE Extender

Overview :

The Eaton NPOE-EXT-1G30 / Tripp Lite is a 1-port Gigabit Ethernet PoE+ extender/repeater designed to extend a powered Ethernet connection beyond the standard cable distance. It supports 10/100/1000 Mbps Gigabit Ethernet and delivers up to 30W of PoE+ power and data over an additional 328 ft. (100 m) of existing network cabling.

The unit provides RJ45 female connectors on both sides and supports Cat5, Cat5e, Cat6 and Cat6a network cabling. The Tripp Lite by Eaton extender operates with IEEE 802.3af and 802.3at PoE devices, making it suitable for extending connectivity to devices such as wireless access points, VoIP phones, security cameras, digital signage and touchscreen kiosks where a local AC outlet is unavailable.

The NPOE-EXT-1G30 uses plug-and-play operation with no configuration required. Up to four extenders can be cascaded, allowing a PoE connection to be extended up to 1,640 ft. (500 m) total when the network design and connected equipment support the configuration.
