Overview :
The NETGEAR GS748PP-100NAS is a 48-port Gigabit unmanaged Ethernet switch designed for business networks, surveillance systems, wireless access points, VoIP, and other PoE deployments. It provides plug-and-play connectivity without requiring switch management or configuration.
The switch provides 48 × 10/100/1000 Mbps RJ45 ports. Ports 1-24 support IEEE 802.3at PoE+ at up to 30 W per port, while ports 25-48 support IEEE 802.3af PoE. The total PoE budget is 380 W.
With 96 Gb/s non-blocking switching bandwidth, 1.5 MB packet buffering, 8K MAC address capacity, and 12,288-byte jumbo-frame support, it is suited to high-density Gigabit edge deployments. The rackmount/desktop chassis and dynamic fans support installation in equipment racks or local network areas.
This is an unmanaged Layer 2 switch with no SFP fiber ports or configurable Layer 3 routing. It should not be selected where VLAN configuration, advanced routing, centralized switch management, or fiber uplinks are required.
