Detailed Specifications
NETGEAR GS728TX-300NAS 24-Port Gigabit Smart Switch
Overview :
The NETGEAR GS728TX-300NAS is a 24-port Gigabit Smart Switch designed for business networks requiring managed Layer 2 connectivity with high-speed fiber uplinks. It provides 24 Gigabit copper ports and four 10G-capable SFP+ ports for server, aggregation, and backbone connections.
The switch provides a 128 Gb/s switching capacity and 83.52 Mpps forwarding rate. It supports VLANs, static routing, dynamic VLAN assignment, MLD snooping, and centralized NETGEAR Insight cloud management.
It is suitable for rack-based business networks, server rooms, branch infrastructure, and access-layer deployments where Gigabit endpoint connectivity and 10G uplinks are required. The model has no PoE budget, so it should not be selected when switches must directly power PoE access points, cameras, phones, or other powered devices.
Key Features :
- 24 Gigabit RJ45 ports support high-density access networks
- Four 10G SFP+ ports provide high-speed fiber uplinks
- 128 Gb/s switching capacity supports demanding traffic loads
- Layer 3 static routing enables segmented network deployment
- Insight management enables centralized remote administration
