The INTELLINET 560764 8-Port Fast Ethernet PoE+ Switch delivers power and high-speed data transmission over standard network cabling to remote powered devices. Engineered for systems integrators, IT administrators, and security installers, it eliminates the requirement for dedicated AC power lines at remote camera or access point installation sites.
Equipped with eight 10/100 Mbps Fast Ethernet PoE+ ports and one Gigabit Ethernet RJ45 uplink port, the switch delivers up to 30 watts per port with a total PoE power budget of 140 watts. Supporting both IEEE 802.3af and IEEE 802.3at standards, it utilizes a store-and-forward switching architecture with auto-sensing MDI/MDI-X across all RJ45 interfaces. Integrated protections defend connected hardware against short circuits, current overloads, and high-voltage conditions.
Featuring a fanless, noise-free metal housing, this unmanaged switch is built for silent deployment on desktop surfaces, shelf mounts, or within edge enclosures. It provides centralized power delivery for IP surveillance cameras, VoIP phone arrays, wireless access points, and access control terminals. Do not use this switch for bandwidth-intensive 1000Base-T endpoint connections on ports 1 through 8 or in setups requiring L2/L3 managed VLAN traffic management.
