Overview

The HPE JG936A is a 1 RU rack-mount Layer 3 access switch intended for enterprise campus wiring closets and branch-site aggregation where PoE+ and 10 GbE uplinks are required. It provides 24 auto-sensing RJ-45 ports at 10/100/1000 Mbps with full PoE+ support and four fixed SFP+ fibre ports for 10 Gb/s or 1 Gb/s uplinks. The device supports static IPv4 routing, RIP routing, IPv6 host mode and stacking via IRF for up to nine units. Designed for high-density edge deployments, it offers a PoE+ budget of ~370 W, a maximum power rating of ~460 W and a compact 1.72″ × 17.32″ × 11.81″ footprint in the rack. Remote and local management are available through CLI, web browser, SNMP and integration with the HPE IMC platform.
