HPE JL429A Aruba 3810M 48G PoE+ 4SFP+ Switch
Overview
The HPE JL429A is a 1U rack‑mount Layer 3 switch in the Aruba 3810M series designed for enterprise network access and aggregation layers where dense PoE+ support and uplink scalability matter. It features 48 RJ‑45 10/100/1000 Mbps ports all supporting PoE+ and four SFP+ expansion slots for 10 GbE uplinks or fibre connectivity. With a 1 050 W power budget, this model supports high‑power devices such as multi‑radio Wi‑Fi 6 access points, IP cameras, and edge compute nodes with inline power delivery. The switching fabric and architecture support advanced features such as OSPF, BGP, IPv6 routing, MACsec encryption and stacking up to 10 units, making it suitable for campus wiring closets, data‑centre access/aggregation, or large branch deployments. Redundant hot‑swappable power supplies and a resilient stacking backplane improve uptime and simplify maintenance in enterprise environments.
