Overview
The HPE JG962A switch is designed for network engineers overseeing demanding branch-office or SMB access deployments that require both high-density Gigabit access and 10 Gb uplinks. It offers 24 auto-negotiating 10/100/1000 Mbps RJ-45 ports with full PoE+ functionality and a 370 W PoE budget, allowing simultaneous data and inline power delivery to wireless access points, IP cameras and VoIP phones. On top of that, two fixed SFP+ fibre ports and two 10 GBASE-T copper ports provide uplink bandwidth and flexibility for fibre or Cat6A cabling. The device fits into a standard 1U rack environment, supports IPv4/IPv6 static routing, link aggregation, stacking (up to four units), ACLs and advanced Layer 2/3 features × making it suitable for both branch access and campus edge aggregation. Remote management via web, SNMP and CLI is supported, allowing integration with existing infrastructure and automation tools.
