Overview

The HPE J9775A is a 1U rack-mount managed access switch designed for enterprise access-layer environments and branch office deployments where high port density and gigabit connectivity are required. It delivers 48 autosensing 10/100/1000 Mb/s RJ-45 ports plus four fixed Gigabit SFP uplink ports, enabling flexible fiber uplinks in addition to copper access. With a switching capacity of 104 Gb/s and forwarding performance of up to 77.3 Mpps for 64-byte packets, it is sized to handle heavy traffic loads while maintaining low latency. The switch supports a full Layer 2 feature set with access-layer security (ACLs, 802.1X), IPv6 host capability and Energy-Efficient Ethernet, making it suitable for campus edge or branch wiring-closet roles.
