The Eaton NGS24C2-1 is a Web-Smart Layer 2 managed Gigabit Ethernet switch from the Tripp Lite series. By incorporating dedicated administrative control mechanisms, it addresses data contention and isolation issues common to unmanaged network hardware in commercial deployments.
The platform delivers an aggregate switching capacity of 52 Gbps, providing full-duplex throughput of 2 Gbps per interface. The structural interface configuration includes 24 auto-negotiating 10/100/1000 Mbps RJ45 ports alongside 2 dedicated Gigabit SFP slots designed for fiber or copper uplink connections. System management is executed via a pre-loaded, browser-based Web-Smart interface that handles VLAN configuration, link aggregation, IGMP snooping, and basic Layer 3 server tracking without requiring proprietary host software.
