Overview
The HPE J9729A is a 1U rack-mount managed access switch from the Aruba 2920 series, designed for enterprise campus, branch office or wiring-closet deployments requiring both high-density connectivity and Power over Ethernet Plus (PoE+). It delivers 44 autosensing 10/100/1000 Mb/s PoE+ RJ-45 ports alongside 4 dual-personality 10/100/1000 Mb/s PoE+ ports (which also function as SFP fibre ports). The model supports a modular architecture with two uplink/expansion slots and a stacking module slot, enabling growth in throughput and resilience.
