Overview

The Eaton NGS24C2POE-1 (from the Tripp Lite series by Eaton) is an energy-efficient Layer 2 managed Gigabit Ethernet switch designed to expand network perimeter connectivity in enterprise data centers, server rooms, and edge environments. It features 24 RJ45 10/100/1000 Mbps auto-negotiating ports and two dedicated Gigabit SFP expansion slots for long-range fiber or copper uplinks.

Equipped with an integrated power supply, this switch supports Type 2 PoE+ across all 24 ports with a total power budget of 370W, delivering up to 30W per port to power network infrastructure endpoints like IP security cameras, VoIP systems, and wireless access points. Embedded, browser-based Layer 2 software provides administrative control over data streams via an independent web interface. It includes support for VLAN segmentation, IGMP snooping, link aggregation (LACP), and advanced cybersecurity functions such as DHCP snooping and broadcast storm control. The 1U metal housing features two internal cooling fans and supports both desktop placement and standard 19-inch rack deployment.
