Overview

The Eaton NGI-S04C2-4 is a lite-managed industrial Gigabit Ethernet switch designed for industrial automation, edge networking, surveillance, and hardened network environments. It provides stable Layer 2 switching for deployments requiring DIN-rail mounting, extended temperature tolerance, and fiber uplink capability.

The switch includes four 10/100/1000 Mbps RJ45 Gigabit Ethernet ports and two dedicated GbE SFP uplink slots for copper or fiber connectivity. It supports MAC address auto-learning, QoS, IGMP snooping, DHCP snooping, and IEEE 802.3x flow control for controlled traffic handling in industrial LAN environments.

Its hardened IP30 metal enclosure is built for vibration-prone and temperature-variable deployments including manufacturing plants, oil and gas sites, transportation infrastructure, and outdoor cabinets. Dual redundant 20–60VDC terminal block power inputs help reduce downtime during power interruptions.

The unit is DIN-rail mountable and suitable for compact industrial cabinets and edge installations where fanless operation and low power consumption are required. It is compatible with standard Gigabit Ethernet infrastructure and SFP uplink modules supporting 100Base-FX and 1000Base-X connectivity.

This model is not intended for high-density enterprise core switching, Layer 3 routing, or PoE-powered device deployments.
