The HPE JL259A Aruba 2930F is a robust 24-port Layer 3 gigabit Ethernet switch with added uplink flexibility via 4 SFP slots. Designed for SMB, branch, and enterprise edge deployments, it enables scalable, secure, and efficient network performance, perfect for high-density workplace connectivity. This model features 24 autosensing RJ-45 ports (10/100/1000 Mbps) supporting a full range of network devices. Four SFP slots are available for optical or copper uplink modules, enabling flexible backbone, stacking, or fiber connections.

Advanced Layer 3 routing functions include RIP, OSPF, access control lists (ACLs), and robust Quality of Service (QoS) for prioritizing critical business traffic. The 56 Gbps switching capacity and forwarding rates up to 41.7 Mpps ensure smooth handling of large traffic volumes, keeping latency below 3.8 μs for 64-byte packets. The switch is built on the Aruba ProVision ASIC, optimized for Software-defined Networking (SDN) and integrating Aruba Central, AirWave, and ClearPass for unified, cloud-based control.
