The HPE E7Y73C is a high‑density SAN extension switch engineered for enterprise and data‑centre storage fabrics where protocol flexibility, low latency, and high throughput are essential. It provides 24 × 16 Gbps Fibre Channel ports, 16 × 1/10 GbE ports, and 2 × 40 GbE QSFP+ uplinks in a single 2U rack‑mount chassis, supporting up to 768 Gbps aggregate bandwidth and cut‑through latency around 700 ns. The switch integrates hot‑swappable dual AC power supplies, modular fans, and back‑to‑front airflow to fit standard data‑centre racks.
