Overview

The HPE R0M68A is a stackable, Layer-3 access switch designed for enterprise wiring-closet, branch and campus deployments where high-density connectivity, multi-gigabit support and advanced PoE are required. It features 24 Smart-Rate 1/2.5/5 Gbps copper ports with full PoE Class 6 support enabling power delivery up to 60 W or more per port, making it suited for modern edge devices such as Wi-Fi 6/6E access points, PTZ cameras or dense IoT deployments. The modular design includes a one-slot chassis with optional uplink/stacking modules for 10 Gb, 40 Gb uplinks and up to ten-chassis stacking, supporting growth and resilience. It integrates into the ArubaOS-CX management ecosystem, enabling unified wired-wireless policy enforcement, automation and Zero-Touch Provisioning workflows. It fits in a standard 1U rack form factor and is ideal in campus access layers where both high-speed client connectivity and significant PoE budgets are needed.
