Overview
The HPE P11677-001 is a high-density, top-of-rack data center switch designed for modern enterprise networks. As a member of the StoreFabric SN2700M series, its primary role is to deliver high-bandwidth, low-latency 100GbE connectivity for server-to-storage and network core aggregation. It addresses the demand for increased throughput driven by virtualization, cloud computing, and flash-based storage workloads, making it ideal for environments requiring predictable performance and scalability. This switch leverages a flexible port configuration, allowing each of its 32 QSFP28 ports to operate at 100GbE or be broken out into multiple 10, 25, or 50GbE connections.
