Overview

The HPE P17526-001 is a 1U high-density Ethernet switch designed for modern data-centre leaf/spine, storage-fabric and high-throughput compute environments. It features 32 QSFP28 ports that support 100 Gb/s per port, enabling up to 3.2 Tb/s of raw port-rate traffic, and employs a non-blocking switching fabric capable of approximately 6.4 Tb/s aggregate bandwidth. With breakout support to speeds such as 50/40/25/10 Gb, and full line-rate forwarding across all ports, it is well suited for server racks, storage clusters, hyper-converged systems and cloud-scale infrastructures where low latency and large east-west data flows dominate. The unit supports configurable airflow direction ("power-to-connector") for rack cooling alignment and uses open-networking ONIE support to allow flexible network OS deployment. Its compact 1U form-factor, high bandwidth capacity, and flexibility make it ideal for dense rack environments in enterprise or service-provider networks.
