The HPE Aruba J9585A is a fully-managed Layer 3 Ethernet switch intended for wiring-closet, branch or campus-access deployments. It offers 24 autosensing 10/100/1000 Mb/s RJ-45 ports and 2 fixed 10 Gb/s RJ-45 uplink ports, enabling seamless connectivity between high-density access and aggregation layers. With a switching capacity of 88 Gb/s and forwarding performance up to approximately 65.4 million packets per second, the unit supports advanced features such as static IPv4 routing, ACLs, QoS, IPv6 management and stack scalability. It installs in a 1U rack-mount chassis and supports optional redundant power supplies and fan trays for improved uptime. With enterprise-grade routing and switching capabilities in a compact form-factor, the J9585A is suited for data-centre edge, branch aggregation or campus access layers.
