The HPE AG558A is a rack-mounted 2-unit (2U) Fibre Channel SAN switch specifically designed for large-scale storage area network fabrics and enterprise storage deployments. It offers 64 full-duplex Fibre Channel ports and auto-sensing speeds up to 2 Gb/s, 4 Gb/s or 8 Gb/s per port, making it appropriate for migration from legacy SAN environments while providing high throughput and port density.
