HPE R8V08A Aruba 6200M 24G 4SFP+ TAA Access Switch
Overview
The HPE R8V08A is a modular, TAA-compliant Layer 3 access switch from the Aruba CX 6200M series, engineered for enterprise branch offices, campuses, and SMB networks that require high availability and operational simplicity. This switch provides a secure, scalable foundation for networks supporting mobile, cloud, and IoT devices, solving the need for a resilient and easy-to-manage access layer. Built on the modern AOS-CX operating system, this platform delivers enhanced network visibility and simplified automation. The underlying Aruba Gen7 ASIC architecture ensures that all switching and routing are wire-speed, providing low latency and increased packet buffering to handle demanding applications without performance degradation. This translates to faster troubleshooting and a more stable user experience through built-in analytics and a time-series database for historical analysis. As a 1U modular switch, the R8V08A is designed for flexible deployment in standard equipment racks. Its key advantage is the inclusion of hot-swappable, redundant power supply and fan tray slots, which significantly increases network resiliency. Management is streamlined through multiple options, including the intuitive Aruba CX Mobile App for rapid deployment, Aruba NetEdit for intelligent configuration, and Aruba Central for unified cloud-based or on-premises oversight.
