HPE S0F35A Aruba Instant On 1960 12-Port PoE Switch
Overview
The HPE S0F35A is a smart-managed, stackable Layer 2+ access switch from the Aruba Instant On 1960 series, engineered for small and growing business networks. It addresses the need for a high-speed, scalable, and powerful networking foundation capable of handling bandwidth-intensive applications. This switch is ideal for deployments requiring support for high-power Power over Ethernet (PoE) devices and multi-gigabit connectivity, such as advanced Wi-Fi access points, IP surveillance cameras, and VoIP phone systems. This model provides a versatile combination of port types to eliminate network bottlenecks. It features four 2.5GBASE-T ports that support high-power Class 6 PoE (PoE++) up to 60W per port, alongside eight Gigabit Ethernet ports with Class 4 PoE+ (up to 30W per port). With a substantial 480W total PoE budget and dedicated 10G uplink ports (both SFP+ and 10GBASE-T), the switch delivers exceptional performance and future-proofs the network infrastructure for next-generation devices. Designed for operational simplicity, the S0F35A can be deployed and managed with ease. Its 1U rack-mountable form factor allows for straightforward installation in a standard network cabinet. Management is flexible, offering the choice between a simple local web GUI or the intuitive Aruba Instant On cloud portal and mobile app. This dual-management capability, combined with true stacking support for up to four 1960 series switches, allows for simplified administration and scalable growth.
