The TRENDnet TI-PE80 is an 8-Port Industrial Fast Ethernet PoE+ DIN-Rail Switch designed for harsh industrial environments. It provides a robust solution for delivering both power and data to PoE-enabled devices such as IP cameras, VoIP phones, and wireless access points over a single Ethernet cable. This unmanaged switch simplifies installation in locations where power outlets are scarce, making it ideal for manufacturing facilities, warehouses, and outdoor enclosures. Engineered to withstand extreme conditions, the TI-PE80 features a rugged, IP30-rated metal housing that protects it from a high degree of shock and vibration. Its key technical advantage is a wide operating temperature range of -40° to 75°C (-40° to 167°F), ensuring reliable performance in both freezing and high-heat settings. A total power budget of 200W allows it to supply up to 30W of PoE+ power per port to multiple devices simultaneously. For mission-critical applications, the switch is equipped with dual redundant power inputs, which minimize network downtime by allowing for a secondary power source in case the primary source fails. An alarm relay is also integrated to provide an immediate notification of power failure.
